IOF Patterns

IOF patterns is a compendium of reusable ontology patterns for industrial data modeling built on the IOF vocabulary. It targets common industrial knowledge-graph scenarios and legacy-data mappings to ensure consistent, validated implementations of IOF ontologies. Patterns address recurring modeling needs; exemplar scenarios currently listed include: (1) change of an object’s location over time, (2) algorithm execution, and (3) assigning a measurement value with a unit.

The collection of patterns is constantly being developed and published as a structured document available to IOF Member only.

If you want to contribute new scenario, update or review existing, please join IOF and IOF Core Pattern subgroup by sending a request to oagi-memberservices@oagi.org or IOF Core chairs: Jim Logan, Milos Drobnjakovic, or Arkopaul Sarkar.
